BrandSpace makes new hires across Sydney and Melbourne

Scentre Group’s BrandSpace has made a number of new hires across the Sydney and Melbourne offices, in response to increasing demand.

Scentre Group’s BrandSpace is excited to announce new team members in Sydney and Melbourne to support its growth in 2023.

The expansion is in response to the increasing demand from emerging and established businesses looking for new growth solutions, who understand the value Westfield destinations and the Westfield customer plays in supporting their growth.

Scentre Group general manager BrandSpace, Scott Moore said: “We’re enhancing our brand, product and service offering to partner more effectively with our clients in the year ahead. This is an exciting time, and we are delighted to be welcoming high calibre talent to signal this expansion. Our ambition is to connect more businesses to their most valuable customers.”

The new Scentre Group BrandSpace hires include:

Burzin Mehta, national sales manager – digital
BrandSpace welcomes Burzin Mehta, leading the newly created digital sales and programmatic stream. As national sales manager, Burzin is focused on developing accelerated growth strategies for all digital products across BrandSpace and the broader Westfield ecosystem. Bringing 12 years of experience in publisher and agency, most recently at oOh!, Burzin’s passion for client challenges through the delivery of data led communications, positions BrandSpace for growth and to better serve digital solutions to our clients of all sizes.

Brodie Ollington, group manager, agency, Sydney
Brodie joins the national sales leadership team from Foxtel Media where she was group business director. Brodie brings 15 years of experience in media, across TV, radio, digital, social and production, her strong market connections and knowledge of the broader media landscape will bring great momentum and focus to the agency team.

Annaliese Norsworthy, group sales manager, agency, Sydney
Annaliese comes to BrandSpace after over a decade of experience in the OOH industry, both in Adelaide and Sydney, most recently as group sales manager for direct and independent agencies at JCDecaux. Having worked across a broad portfolio of assets with a diversity of clients, Annaliese is excited by the growth offering at BrandSpace and looks forward to uncovering new opportunities for the business.

Mike Shore, head of marketing & strategy, Sydney
A newly formed function, Mike leads the marketing, audience and strategic response as BrandSpace looks to generate greater demand from a breadth of client types. Prior to this appointment, Mike held senior strategy roles within News Corp, and has an extensive background in client, communication and planning roles within agency.

Caroline Nikolic, group manager, brand & marketing, Sydney
Caroline joins from CommBank, where she worked in brand strategy, playing an instrumental role in CommBank’s rebrand in 2020. Caroline will be responsible for the new brand strategy & trade marketing for BrandSpace as it evolves in 2023.

Sam Daley, group sales manager, agency, Melbourne
With experience across account management and sales leadership, the agency team in Melbourne welcomes Sam Daley as GSM. Most recently Sam worked at Seven West Media and previous to this at Cars Guide. Sam’s specific focus on data and digital sets him up well for his new role.

Moore added: “Our growth requires strong focus and investment in our talent and we are looking forward to continuing to grow the team in the coming months.”
