BRICKX APPOINTS NEW MARKETING HIRES FROM DOMAIN AND AMAYSIM TO FUEL GROWTH

Pioneering property platform BRICKX has today announced new marketing hires from Domain Group and telco amaysim to support the fintech company as it continues to grow rapidly.

Asok Boopathy has stepped into the Group Director of Product role at BRICKX following two years gaining valuable property experience as Head of Product at Domain Group. Boopathy
has a history of working with innovative companies such as Paypal, Bigcommerce and Silicon Valley’s Flight Car.

Boopathy says: “Australians are incredibly passionate about real estate and getting on to the property market – so I’m thrilled to start at BRICKX, a revolutionary platform which can
make this a reality for every Australian.”

“Everything I’ve learned in the conventional property sector will help BRICKX in shaping it anew.”

Jennifer Snell will be starting alongside Boopathy as Head of Acquisition and Customer Marketing. In the newly created role, Snell will drive BRICKX’s ambitious growth strategy
and lead engagement and communications with customers. Since 2012 she has held various digital roles at telco amaysim.

Snell says: “I’m stoked to be joining the BRICKX team at a time of such momentum. As a marketer, it’s exciting to have the opportunity to help democratise access to property investment using a data-driven approach to growth."

CMO Andrew Balint, who joined the BRICKX team from amaysim in October 2017, stressed the importance of hiring the right talent as the platform evolves.

Balint says: “There is nothing else like BRICKX in the Australian market, so it requires adaptable, disruptive and inventive staff at its heart.”

“We face unique challenges but also incredible opportunities to reinvent the conversation around property ownership in Australia. Asok and Jen will make great additions to the team as we step up our efforts to give every Australian a pathway to property.”

Balint has a twenty-year track record of transformational marketing across customer experience, digital and brands including Optus, News Corp, eBay and QANTAS.
