Brigitte Bayard named APG’s Planning Idol winner
Strategic planner Brigitte Bayard won Account Planning Group’s industry challenge Planning Idol on Friday night.
Bayard, who works for AJF Partnership, was on of 16 finalists given a brief from United Nations to devise a strategy to help fundraising for those affected by the Syria conflict.
The jury was chaired by Goodby Silverstein’s chief strategy officer Gareth Kay.
Clara Vincent of The Hallway and Michaela Brown of Droga 5 were highly commended.
The student winners were Isabella Howard and Ella Newell from New Zealand’s University of Otago.
The APG, part of The Communications Council, represents the role of strategy within agencies.
Russ Mitchinson, APG chairman said: “It is fantastic to see such a high standard of strategic thinking from this year’s entrants – young planners don’t often get to lead on such large-scale briefs, and so Planning Idol really presents an opportunity to shine.”
Well done, Brig!
