Brisbane comms firm Rowland expands into Sydney with ex-GE hire

Strategic communication and advisory firm, Rowland has announced its expansion into Sydney, with Emma Rugge-Price being appointed as strategic advisor.

The expansion is part of the corporate communications firms growth strategy, including plans to expand service areas in digital, data, corporate communication and issues management.

Rugge-Price, joins with more than 25 years industry experience, most notably spending 14 years at General Electric (GE), where she was vice president of corporate marketing and communications, overseeing the growth of the brand across industry sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Rugge-Price was most recently non-executive director of Great Walks of Australia.

Rowland chairman Geoff Rodgers said: “Rowland has had links into the Sydney market for nearly 30 years and our inroads are particularly strong with the establishment of a strategic advisor role in the New South Wales market.”

Rodgers also commented on the appointment of Rugge-Price: “Emma’s deep experience across a wide breadth of market-leading organisations will allow Rowland to tap into enich markets and support a new wave of clients in building sustainable organisational, corporate and commercial value through communication.”
