Bruce Mundell departs Mindshare after over a decade for Eye
Former Mindshare exchange director Bruce Mundell has moved to Ten’s out of home media company Eye Corp as trading director.
Mundell was at Mindshare for over a decade, beginning his career as an intern straight from university.
The news of his departure comes just over a month after head of mobile and online, Nikki Retallick, left the agency. A replacement for her role has yet to be announced.
Mundell’s former clients while at Mindshare included Diageo, ING Direct, Volvo, Tourism New Zealand, LG Electronics and ONE Water.
Mark Fairhurst, GM of Sales, Eye Australia and New Zealand, said: “Bruce is a tough and experienced media buyer and out of home specialist.”
Mundell said in a press release, “I am really excited by the new challenge of joining Mark Fairhurst and the team at Eye. I have always been impressed by the quality of the Eye product and hope that my experience from agency side can assist them in creating leading out of home solutions to their advertising partners”.
Mundell was awarded the B&T Weekly Young Achiever of the Year in 2009 and the 2010 AdNews 40 Under 40 profile.
His appointment is effective immediately.

Was it necessary to upload a 4.34MB file of him at 3888×2592? I don’t know him from Adam, but I wasn’t expecting a wallpaper download when I saw this in RSS/online… #JustSaying

Yikes,
Sorry about that giant image, Seriocomic.
I’ve replaced it with one of a less lifelike size.
Cheers,
