Captain Risky uses an unusual garage in his home in latest Budget Direct spot
Budget Direct's famous 'Captain Risky' ad campaign is returning with its latest instalment 'Home Sweet Risky Home'.
Captain Risky is back in the latest instalment of Budget Direct’s famous advertising campaign aimed at spruiking the insurance firm’s high customer recommendation rate.
The new TV spot from 303 Mullen Lowe, entitled ‘Home Sweet Risky Home’, sees Captain Risky park his car in a garage fitted to the upper level of his suburban house, which he accesses via a launch ramp.
As he speeds down the street he muses on Budget Direct’s 94% customer recommendation rating, remarking that he’ll “never know that feeling” because the company won’t insure him.
The director of marketing & digital for Budget Direct, Jonathan Kerr, says that “Captain Risky is starting to feel a little left out knowing that Budget Direct definitely won’t insure him.”
As in previous ads this one ends with a voiceover telling viewers they won’t insure Captain Risky to keep premiums for other drivers lower.
