Bunnings Warehouse launches first ad campaign for UK store

Australian household hardware chain Bunnings Warehouse has officially launched in the UK, taking its well-known ad format and slogan to Britain.

The warehouse, located in St Albans, opened on February 2 with a ‘Sausage Sizzle’ led by Peter Davis, managing director of Bunnings UK and Ireland.

Following the launch, Bunnings Warehouse UK has launched several ad spots featuring everyday Bunnings workers telling customers about why the warehouse is ‘great’.

The advertisement is a replica of the Australian ad format which was created by The Brand Agency.

The Brand Agency has worked with Bunnings Warehouse for more than 20 years.

Bunnings Warehouse’s latest work aims to explain to new customers what the hardware chain does, and what consumers can expect to find when they enter the stores.

In a second video spot, employees tell customers what they can find in the store, such as paint and tools, and explains the Bunnings Policy, ‘Where you find a competitor’s lower price on the same stocked item, we’ll beat it by 10%.’

Mumbrella is yet to confirm the agency behind the UK version of the ad.
