Bupa hires Roger Sharp as director of corporate affairs

Heath care insurer Bupa has hired Roger Sharp as its director of corporate affairs.

Sharp is replacing Dieter Lehmann who departed the business to join Coles as its head of corporate communications in November last year.

Sharp started with Bupa this month

Prior to joining Bupa Sharp was the chief communications officer at the department of health and human services in Victoria.

Sharp returns to Bupa after leaving the company in 2012 as its general manager of corporate affairs.

Richard Bowden, CEO at Bupa, said in a statement: “I am very pleased to welcome Roger Sharp back to Bupa. He has a strong history of building successful, engaged and positive teams.”

Sharp has been approached for comment.
