Schweppes encourages consumers to unwind and revitalise in new campaign by BWM Dentsu

Schweppes urges consumers to unwind anywhere, anytime, as part of its Real Iced Tea campaign ‘Brewed to hit the spot’ created by BWM Dentsu.

The integrated campaign is BWM Dentsu’s first work for Schweppes since its appointment to the creative roster in January.

The ad, a first for Schweppes from BWM Dentsu, begins with a woman lying in an oasis of foliage, surrounded by the sounds of nature, looking up at the sky. The camera zooms out to reveal busy city streets and a voiceover encouraging iced tea drinkers to relax and revitalise despite their busy schedules.

Troy McKinna, Schweppes general manager of marketing, said: “We wanted to convey the idea that Real Iced Tea Co., is brewed from natural leaves, delivering moments of refreshment and respite from people’s busy lives.”

The ad was shot in Melbourne’s CBD using real ferns, trees and shrubs to create a pocket oasis amongst the buzz of Collins St.

Mark Watkin, managing director of BWM Dentsu Melbourne, said the oasis theme aimed to give Australians a taste of the freshness of the new range.

The campaign is running across TV, outdoor and online.
