BWM ends year with five new creative appointments

BWM has beefed up its creative team ending the year with five new appointments in the Sydney office, including two new creative directors.

Andrew Ostrom joins the agency as creative director, bringing with him 17 years’ experience as an art and creative director and has worked for agencies including Ogilvy, BMF, Naked Communications and M&C Saatchi.

Nick Levy also joins as creative director with 15 years in the industry having most recently worked as a creative director at UDKU on a special app project to assist the blind and vision impaired with Y&R Singapore and VML Kansas. He has also worked for DDB, The Monkeys and BMF.

Rob Belgiovane, chief creative officer, said in a statement: “With BWM continuing to win new business, these five new hires will play an integral role in ensuring our business continues to expand, with new ideas that thrill, engage and surprise and get Australian’s talking in 2014.”

The agency has also selected a trio of junior talent, including Zac Pritchard who joins as a copywriter having previously worked for the Australia Radio Network, the Boiler Room and Gorilla Communication, where he worked on clients such as Four Seasons condoms.

Sam Grant joins as a junior art director coming from a background in film and TV production, joining from Momentum and Fee Millist joins the agency as a junior creative copywriter and is a 2013 graduate of the AWARD School.

“Andrew, Nick, Zac, Fee and Sam are all powerhouses of creativity, and are a very welcome addition to the BWM creative clan,” Belgiovane said.

The five new hires join a relatively new team of creatives who joined BWM this past year including creative directors Tom Manion, Kevin Macnamara and Sean Lavery as well as digital creatives Adam Gustella and Tom Hartney.
