BWM Melbourne ramps up creative team
BWM’s Melbourne office has made four staff additions, among them Gus Johnston, who joins as senior art director after stints at DDB and Grey Melbourne.

Belgiovane Williams Mackay Melbourne has announced further staff appointments off the back of strong new business and organic growth.
Four key appointments have been made including a senior art director, new creative team, and head of production.
Gus Johnston joins BWM as senior art director after working most recently at DDB and Grey Melbourne. Johnston brings a wealth of experience to the team having worked across a range of clients, from Mercedes Benz to M&Ms.
“Gus is also an accomplished writer, filmmaker, entrepreneur and athlete – we know clients will love his energy and insights,” said BWM managing director Hugh Nairn.
The agency’s creative ranks have also been bolstered by the appointment of copyrighter Eric Blakeway and art director Chris Shoolman.
The award-winning creatives have worked extensively across traditional and new media for clients in categories as diverse as toys and power tools.
Also joining the Melbourne team is Ryan Swerdlow as head of production. Swerdlow moves to Melbourne from BWM Sydney.
