Cam Brown joins Arnold Furnace as copywriter

Recently rebranded Havas agency Arnold Furnace has appointed Cam Brown as a copywriter. He joins the agency following a stint as a freelancer.

The announcement:

3 August, 2011:  Paul Fenton and Tom Spicer, Joint National Creative Directors of Arnold Furnace, today announced the appointment of Cam Brown as Copywriter, following a stint freelancing with the agency.

Standing 6 feet 4 inches tall, Cam is easy to spot in a room full of creatives…but it is his work that stands out.  He has been awarded an Adfest Lotus Grande 360, Gold Effie Award, Cannes Finalist and Axis Finalist.

Prior to joining Arnold Furnace he spent time in Canada as a Copywriter with Grey Global Group.  Before that he was in his native New Zealand working with DDB for 2 years and Grey for 4 years, both in Auckland.

“Finding someone who shares the lofty ambitions Paul and I have for Arnold Furnace was always going to be a tall order, but after a lengthy search we found the hugely talented Cameron Brown.  A sizeable addition to the creative department, he combines a high level of craft with a huge imagination and a great track record,” said Spicey.

“It’s been tops having Cam around.  In the short time he’s been here he has worked on some massive briefs and done some monumental work.  If Mr. Brown continues to grow creatively there’s definitely big things ahead for him, the sky really is the limit,” added Paulie.
