Campari Australia supports local venues with cocktail delivery initiative

Campari Australia is supporting the hospitality industry with an initiative that helps bars and venues offer a bottled cocktail delivery or pick-up service.

Over 200 venues have already registered for the Shaken Not Broken Initiative, which includes Campari Group products, cocktail delivery supplies and marketing tools to help drive awareness of the venue’s cocktail offering. The initiative is in partnership with online order platform Hungry Hungry.

The initiative has enabled venues to continue serving cocktails throughout the pandemic

Campari has committed resources valued at $500,000 to the project.

Nicole Stanners, Campari Group marketing director for Australia and New Zealand said she hoped the initiative would help venues create a new revenue stream to ensure they can emerge on the other side of the crisis.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the resilience and agility of venue owners across the nation who have joined the initiative, as we know how important it is they remain connected to their communities.”

A dedicated website will list and promote all of the registered venues so that Australians can search for their local participating bar.

The virtual support pack contains information about registering with Hungry Hungry and a portfolio of marketing materials venues can use to promote themselves.

The initiative was created by Eleven, with digital executed by Apparent and media completed by Wavemaker.

Russ Tucker, executive creative director at Eleven, said Australians’ love of local bars should continue through the pandemic.

“We’re definitely no strangers to our local bars. They are often the first to support community causes using their creativity, so we’ve loved working with Campari Australia to turn an idea into a reality, and create new ways to help venues keep pouring,” he said.
