Cancer Council appoints VCCP to produce national campaign

Cancer Council has appointed VCCP Sydney to develop a national campaign, following a pitch process.

The new campaign, which will be created by VCCP, will focus on raising awareness of the work Cancer Council does for cancer research, prevention and support.

Kristofer Rogers, director of marketing and fundraising for Cancer Council, said in a statement: “Cancer Council is a household name in Australia, yet most people don’t realise just how much we do.

“We lead the way with research and advocacy, but we also run prevention programs like SunSmart and amazing services like rural patient transport.”

Andrew Holt, CEO at VCCP said: “Cancer Council is an iconic brand and its work saves and improves lives – they work tirelessly across Australia to fight cancer everyday. This campaign is a big milestone for the organisation, as all states and territories are collaborating to deliver a vital message to Australia.”

Gary Dawson, ECD at VCCP, said: “Cancer Council does phenomenal work and our job is to tell their story and ensure everyone better understands the importance of supporting their efforts. It’s an inspiring brief and an important responsibility.”
