Candid Projects officially opens for business

The production company behind Air New Zealand’s Kiwi Sceptics branded content series has officially launched in Sydney, catering specifically to creative agencies and brands.

Despite picking up work from mid 2011, Candid Projects, founded by executive producer Jo Melling has officially launched in Sydney’s Chippendale.

Kiwi Sceptics, produced for agency Host, followed the journeys of people who were promised a holiday to their favourite destination, but were taken to New Zealand instead. The series was narrated Flight of the Conchord’s Rhys Darby.

Melling said: “We have the unique offering of proven experience across all aspects of production so if creative requires a number of aspects we fully understand how they work, and how they can work best together. To this we added a friendly, honest and efficient work ethic that has proved itself a very convenient formula for our clients.”

Candid Projects has also delivered a 12-part adventure travel documentary series ‘Aussie Way Up’ and as well as Host, the company also has agency clients in MTV, Momentum, Jack Watts Currie and Jamboree producing work for Nike, Heineken, Lion and Sensodyne.
