Carat Melbourne claims 40% billings gains

Aegis media buyer Carat Melbourne has claimed billings growth of 40% on the back of new business wins including Bet365, Infiniti Cars, City of Melbourne and Everguide.

The announcement:

Carat Melbourne continues to strengthen its portfolio, growing billings by 40% due to new business wins so far this year and significantly strengthening the size of its team to 60 people.

Carat’s success comes from a host of new client wins including Bet365, Infiniti Cars, City of Melbourne and Everguide along with a number of new projects from existing clients.

Simon Ryan, Managing Director of Carat Melbourne, said: “Over the past 12 months, Carat Melbourne has grown significantly in terms of billings. Our staff numbers have increased  considerably as we’ve grown our business and we are thrilled with our latest client wins.”

Natalie Kean has also been promoted to Group Business Director, creating a new team within Carat to manage the growth in business. “Natalie is a young high performer and has been with Carat for seven years now. This is a thoroughly deserved promotion and will see her lead a team of 10 staff.”

Carat Melbourne looks set to continue to grow throughout the remainder of 2011, with a number of pitches currently pending. Beyond the recent client wins, Carat Melbourne’s clients include Disney, Nissan, Kraft, Nintendo and Mattel.

“It’s an exciting time at Carat as we continue to work with our clients to capitalise on our size as part of Aegis Media Pacific, and to demonstrate what we can deliver and how we can influence.”
