Carat Perth announces new hire, retains three clients
Carat has announced it has retained key clients in Perth, with the media planning and buying accounts for Alinta, Cash Converters and Crown Resorts Group to remain with the media agency.
The trio of accounts have combined billings of over $10 million, and Carat Perth managing director, Jim Groves, said it was “terrific” to be able to announce these retentions.
“It is terrific to be able to extend and deepen Carat’s relationships with key clients, and is testimony to the potency of our team’s capability alignment with our clients’ business objectives,” he said.
Carat is entering into the ninth year of its relationship with Cash Converters, while Crown has worked with Dentsu in Perth for eight years.
Cash Converters chief customer officer, Nerida Collins, said: “We are an agile business that needs to deploy media at national scale, and we value our partnership with Carat and Dentsu in helping us deliver growth metrics.”
Crown GM marketing Perth, Kelly Townson, said: “We are very happy to be in a position to extend our media planning and buying partnership with Carat and Dentsu.”
Alina national digital marketing manager, Adam McCarthy, added: “We value Carat as a partner in helping us operate effectively in a competitive energy marketplace. The ability to connect west coast and east coast expertise helps us maximise the effectiveness of our media investment.”
In addition to the above retentions, Carat Perth has also hired Natalie Salinovich in the role of client director.
Groves welcomed Salinovich to the team, and said: “Nat is one of the next generation of leaders in our sector, and we are delighted to welcome her into our growing team,”
Salinovich previously worked for Initiative Perth, where she spent the past seven years working across accounts including Bunnings, P&N Bank, RAC and Lottery West.
