Carat promotes Laura Bartal and Sam Hegg into strategy and product roles

Media agency Carat has shuffled its senior roles, following last week’s move of strategy head Gavin Ashcroft client side, to become Disney’s new chief marketing officer. 

The changes see promotions for Sam Hegg, who takes the new role of national head of product, while Laura Bartal moves into Hegg’s previous role as head of strategy in Melbourne.

In a statement Simon Ryan, CEO of Carat Australia & New Zealand said: “Sam and Laura are both incredibly high performers in our business who deserve to be recognised and to progress in their careers as part of our commitment to promoting from within.
