Carat Sydney promotes Danni Wright to head of strategy

Dentsu Aegis Network’s media agency Carat has promoted its group strategy director Danni Wright to head of strategy.

Carat said the promotion coincides with its increased focus on communications strategy and planning, with the agency now claiming it “has one of the largest dedicated strategic resources of any agency” thanks to its 20 strategists in five offices around the country.

Wright’s promotion is effective immediately

Wright has been with the business for over 10 years and has worked across some of the agency’s key clients including Woolworths, Mastercard and Virgin Australia.

She will report to chief strategy officer Sam Hegg who said the promotion will lead to better outcomes for clients.

“I’m thrilled that Dannii is now officially leading our strategic function in such a critical market. Her commitment to improving both herself, those around her, and the agency’s collective output is unmatched. This is, in turn, leading to better outcomes for our clients, which I know is Danni’s true passion.”

Wright too, is looking forward to the new role, which kicks in immediately.

“I’ve experienced a great deal of personal and professional growth with Carat over the last 10 years, something that I’m sure is set to continue in my new role. Luckily, I will have an incredibly strong team and fantastic set of peers beside me as I navigate this new challenge.”
