First Mumbrella360 Masterclass sessions revealed with Hypetap, Posterscope, MultiConnexions, Orchard and more
Detch Singh, co-founder of influencer marketplace Hypetap, has been announced to lead one of the first five Masterclass sessions for Mumbrella360. The sessions, also featuring Posterscope, MultiConnexions, Orchard and Goji Web, will cover a range of topics including brand safety and authenticity with influencers, the latest in location marketing, communicating successfully with Chinese and Indian markets, and a number of issues around data and insights.
Singh will lead a Masterclass workshop exploring what makes influencers truly authentic. He will use data and insights to help brands navigate the world of influencer marketing and understand which indicators can help them identify those with real audiences and those with manufactured ones. He’ll also share the results of an analysis of the top Australian influencers and reveal how many of these actually have an authentic audience.
The Masterclass sessions provide a workshop-style environment with a more interactive feel. Each session is specifically tailored to provide deep insights into a heavily discussed industry topic. Mumbrella360 takes place on June 12-14, with tickets available now.
Joining Singh as a Masterclass leader is Posterscope Australia’s strategy and insights director, Cassandra Thomas-Smith. She’ll reveal the importance of location, data and contextual placement in out-of-home and explain how the industry needs to think differently about the oldest standing mass medium and its pivotal role in the future of smart cities.
Also confirmed is Kim Verbrugghe, Orchard’s head of strategy, who will deliver insights into the confusing world of data analysis. The industry is still struggling with turning customer information into useable insights, but Verbrugghe will share a step-by-step approach to mining real information from consumer data and reveal two different ways to generate the significant findings from data.
Director of data and analytics at Goji Web, Matt Murfitt, will also lead a Masterclass focusing on data, this time looking at managing audience segmentation. From mobile apps to website cookies to your CRM, offline data and more, Murfitt will illustrate how to bring all this data together. He’ll go through the future of customer data for marketing and explain the new generation of targeted advertising as it starts to unfold.
Meanwhile, Sheba Nandkeolyar, CEO and co-founder of MultiConnexions, will take a look at connecting with a multicultural audience, particularly Indian and Chinese consumers. In this Masterclass she will provide valuable insights for marketers for the purposes of planning a successful and effective marketing strategy in multicultural Australia.
Mumbrella360 takes place at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney on June 12-14. Tickets are on sale now at earlybird discount.
