Carlton Draught launches meat tray promotion
Carlton Draught has launched a promotion that feeds off an old Australian pub tradition: the meat tray.
The Carlton Draught Massive Meat Wheel promotion gives punters the chance to win a trip to the London Eye observation wheel, $100,000 and a meat tray.
The meat tray will be made from cows reared on the hops and malted barley used to brew Carlton Draught, linking with the beer’s “Made from beer” slogan.
Meat lovers will be able to try Carlton Draught Wagyu Beef meat trays can at tasting events, the details for which will be posted on the Carlton Draught Facebook page.
To take part in the promotion, consumers must purchase Carlton Draught from participating outlets and use a code found inside specially marked packs fo beer. They can also enter a competition on Network Nine’s The AFL Footy Show.
The campaign was devised by Creative Activation, with media relations by Pulse Communications.
I like this idea. Feeding’ cattle beer and even massaging them with beer sprayed from their handler’s mouth is classic Japan. So, maybe prize of trip to Japan for tray of Kobe/Wagyu beef would’ve been even better.
