Carsales rejigs board after Jeffrey Browne takes Nine MD role

Carsales.com has announced changes to its board of directors following the resignation of Jeffrey Browne, who takes on the role of MD of the Nine Network.

The announcement:

carsales.com Limited (ASX: CRZ) today announced two changes to its Board of Directors.

Mr Jeffrey Browne has resigned from the carsales.com Ltd Board effective from 21 April, 2011.

Mr Browne’s resignation is as a result of his expanded commitments in his new role as National Managing Director of
the Nine Network.

Also effective 21 April, 2011, Mr Ian Law was re-appointed to the carsales Board. Mr Law was a non-executive director
of carsales.com Ltd until November 2010 when he resigned as a result of his resignation from PBL Media.

carsales.com Limited’s Chairman, Mr Wal Pisciotta, paid tribute to the contribution made by Mr Browne to the business
since his appointment in December 2007.

“The Board thanks Jeffrey for his contribution since joining the company in December 2007. Jeffrey’s experience in both
the automotive and media sectors has been highly valuable to carsales.com Ltd. We wish him well with his expanded
responsibilities at the Nine Network”.

Mr Pisciotta also welcomed Mr Law back to the Board of carsales.com Ltd.

“We are extremely pleased that Ian has agreed to re-join the carsales Board after a four-month absence.

“Ian is one of the most respected executives in this country with experience across a range of media businesses. His
considerable experience and knowledge was a huge asset during his previous tenure on the carsales Board and will be
so again in the future. We’re thrilled to have him back”.
