Casefile True Crime stays top with Abbie Chatfield entering Podcast Ranker top 10
Triton Digital has delivered the Podcast Ranker results for February 2022, with Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime holding on to top spot once again with 892,436 listeners across the month, while publishing five new episodes.
Despite dropping two spots again, down to sixth, Listnr’s Hamish & Andy continue to prove their popularity with 364,208 listeners, despite publishing no new episodes for the second successive month.
The top ten shows
LiSTNR jumped into second spot overall, following ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia,and before and Audioboom. Total downloads for the month reached 62.3 million.
The top three podcasts across the Top 100 Ranker and the All-Australian Ranker were the same, Casefile True Crime (Audioboom), Life Uncut with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne (ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia), followed by The Kyle & Jackie O Show (ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia). The latter rose three spots, while publishing 108 new episodes.
There were several new entries to the Top 100, the highest being Stitcher Media’s Last Podcast On The Left at 33. Others included My Sister’s Secrets (News Corp Australia), 3pm PickUp (ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia), and Nine News (Nine Radio).
Participating publishers include Audioboom, ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia, DM Podcasts, Equity Mates Media, Hidden Brain Media, LiSTNR (SCA), Motorsport Podcast Network, News Corp Australia, Nine, NOVA Entertainment, Podshape, Schwartz Media, Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), Stitcher Media, TOFOP Productions, The Chaser, Wavelength Creative and West Australian Newspapers.
