Cashrewards announces new general manager of retail media

Cashrewards has today announced the appointment of a new general manager of retail media.

In a bid to expand its recently-launched retail media platform, Circuit by Cashrewards, the company has announced Lachlan Brahe for the position, who moves across from The Endeavour Group where he also worked as head of retail media.

Brahe has previously worked at IPG Mediabrands as MD of Reprise – where he worked with big name advertisers like Coca-Cola and Nestle – and later joined Criteo to launch its own retail media platform.

“We see significant opportunity to create a market leading retail media proposition and Lachlan’s experience and expertise will support us in building a platform that helps us to achieve this goal,” Cashrewards CEO, Anthony Seymour-Walsh, said.

“We’re excited to broaden our proposition for both marketers and agencies and work with them to strategically tap into our active user base who are primed and ready to shop.”

Launched in October, Circuit by Cashrewards offers agencies and advertisers behavioural insights into the cashback program’s shopper network, which features over 20 retail categories including technology, food and fashion.

Officially starting on 8 January, Brahe will be tasked with developing and growing the platform.

“I have seen the retail media market mature over the last five years and can clearly see a place in the market for a platform like Circuit, that brings together Cashrewards’ engaged member base with its broad array of clients and expansive range of categories.”
