Cat stares down men for their burgers in new KFC work
A hungry, envious cat stalks two men eating their burgers, in the latest KFC campaign to promote the launch of the new ‘Original Recipe Stacker’ burgers.
The ad sees two men sitting in their home enjoying their burgers when they spot a cat staring at them intently from across the road.
Every time they look up the cat draws closer towards them until, without a door or window opening, it lands on one of the men’s laps.

Shaun Branagan, group creative director at Ogilvy Sydney said in a statement: “When everyone – even the creepy cat next door – wants to get their paws on a KFC Original Stacker, then things go from good to bad to ugly.”
“This campaign is all about desire and crave,” said Annabel Fribence, KFC’s marketing director for individual meals.
“Original Recipe is our signature finger lickin’ good chicken. With two stacked Original Recipe fillets we had no choice but to celebrate the undeniable desire this burger elicits. No one, man, woman or cat can escape it.”
Earlier this year, KFC launched its ‘Shut up and take my money‘ campaign to promote meal deals, showing how there is something at KFC for everyone.
The latest ad features a janitor dancing down a hallway, taunting students stuck in an exam with his chips and gravy.
KFC’s new campaign will run across outdoor and digital.
