Cathy O’Connor, Lisa Ronson, Katie Rigg-Smith and Nick Williams added to Mumbrella neXt line-up
Coles CMO, Lisa Ronson; Nova CEO, Cathy O’Connor; Mindshare CEO, Katie Rigg-Smith; and founding partner of Williams International, Nick Williams, have joined the lineup of speakers at Mumbrella neXt, the new half-day conference aimed at developing those taking their first steps in a media and marketing career.
Ronson, O’Connor, Williams and Rigg-Smith will take part in an interactive panel session where audience questions will be collated on the day, giving delegates the opportunity to have their most pressing questions answered by some of the industry’s most senior leaders.
Throughout the day, delegates will be invited to write their questions on a post-it note and put it into the question box located in the networking area. The panellists will then tackle the biggest and most interesting questions in the box at the conclusion of the day.
The quartet offers perspectives from across the media and marketing industry including recruitment, brands, agencies and media.
Already announced speakers in the lineup include CHE Proximity (CHEP) CEO, Chris Howatson, who will lift the hood on his career and reveal how he entered the industry, his approach to learning, what he knows now that he wish he knew when he started, what he looks for in new talent, and more.
CHEP is currently Mumbrella’s creative agency of the year, while Howatson is one of the youngest leaders of a major Australian agency.
TBWA and Eleven PR’s Russ Tucker will reveal the ways to create and amplify a good idea, while Scarlett Strategic Solutions’ Janey Francis will illustrate how to make the most out of working with others, and break out of self-limiting patterns in order to approach problems and planning more effectively.
At the conclusion of the conference Mumbrella will hold the neXt Awards, which will be hosted by Triple J’s breakfast duo, Ben and Liam.
