CBSi Australia appoints Barry McGhee as new managing director

Online publisher CBS Interactive Australia has announced the appointment of Barry McGhee as Managing Director. McGhee will be responsible for the Australian operations of CNET Australia, GameSpot AU, TechRepublic, and ZDNet after moving across from CBS’s B2B operation, where he was GM.

“I’m delighted to take on the post as Managing Director and excited to lead our talented team as we continue to grow the presence of our world-class brands in Australia,” said McGhee.

He will continue to report to Wendy Hogan Vice President, CBS Interactive Asia Pacific. Prior to joining CBS Interactive as Commercial Director for B2B in 2010, McGhee was Group Sales Manager across the Financial Review Group of Fairfax Business Media.  Nic Christensen
