Chain Social hosts inaugural Digital Marketing Mastery Retreat in Fiji

Chain Social’s Digital Marketing Mastery Retreat brought together 30 business owners and marketing specialists for immersive training and strategy sessions.

The announcement:

Last week, Chain Social hosted its inaugural Digital Marketing Mastery Retreat on the shores of Fiji, bringing together 30 business owners and marketing specialists for four days of upskilling, strategy and sunshine.

Held at the Marriott Resort Momi Bay, the retreat equipped attendees with the digital marketing tools to thrive in 2025.

Chain Social’s expert team delivered masterclasses across marketing strategy, Meta ads, TikTok virality, Pinterest and TikTok advertising, email marketing, automation and SMS campaigns.

“We turned this idea into reality in under four months, and the results far exceeded everyone’s expectations,” said Chain Social founder and CEO Shelby Van Zwol.

“This retreat was the first of its kind – equal parts education, connection and creative inspiration.”

One attendee, Mel Read, described the experience as “transformational – I left with a clear strategy, renewed motivation and a network I know I can lean on”.

Joshua Woodworth, who also joined the program, described it as a “pinch-me moment”.

“It’s hands down the best investment I’ve made in my business so far,” he said.

Following the retreat’s success, Van Zwol has her sights set on more international events.

For now, the agency will continue delivering Meta ads masterclasses around Australia and is preparing a Black Friday and Cyber Monday summit for August.

Chain Social is a digital-led marketing and creative agency working with leading Australian beauty, fashion and lifestyle e-commerce brands.

Founded by Van Zwol in 2016, the agency has worked with clients like Adairs, JSHealth Vitamins and Gem Personal Care.
