Charles Sturt University targets people looking at a new career with Think Again campaign

People looking to change careers are being told to ‘Think again’ in a new campaign from Charles Sturt University encouraging them to think about career transformation.

The campaign has been created by McCann, which also handled the media buy for the account, as the agency continues to move towards a full service model.

In the ad the camera follows behind a woman walking through an office towards her desk, with a voiceover talking about her progression from wanting to be a lawyer to managing partner.

“Studying a university degree or course online gives people the chance to continue their work, lifestyle and family commitments while working towards a dream career or upgrading their knowledge to get new qualifications,” said Sarah Ansell, executive director of the division of marketing and communication at CSU.

“With the new ‘Think Again’ campaign we want to remind people of what’s possible when they are given the flexibility and support to learn when they want and how they want.

“The campaign is our call to action for people to start learning again and to aspire to something greater.”

The campaign includes 15 and 30 second television commercials on Foxtel, radio spots on Nova FM, homepage takeovers of SMH.com.au and theage.com.au, outdoor advertising on regional and metropolitan buses, and pop-up kiosks and interactive digital screens throughout a number of Westfield shopping centres.

A series of alumni testimonial videos have also been developed for the campaign and will be used on television, online and in social media.
