Chaser’s Julian Morrow to present Andrew Olle lecture

Former Chaser’s War On Everything star Julian Morrow is to present this year’s Andrew Olle Media Lecture, the ABC has revealed.

The speech – named after late ABC broadcaster Andrew Olle – focuses on the role and future of the media.

Previous presenters have included media buyer Harold Mitchell; News Ltd boss John Hartigan; Seven owner Kerry Stokes; Crikey proprietor Eric Beecher, former media minister Helen Coonan; Lachlan Murdoch, Ray Martin, John Doyle, Chris Anderson, Steve Vizard, John Alexander, Jana Wendt and David Williamson.

The address takes place in Sydney on Friday November 6.
