CHE Proximity takes home 3 Lions amongst 8 AUNZ wins at Cannes Lions

Cannes Lions has announced some of the 2020/2021 winners, with six Australian and New Zealand companies taking home Lions.

In January, Cannes Lions announced that the awards would go ahead, judging work for both 2020 and 2021. Both the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity and Awards were cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The winners announced thus far are for the Design Lions, Outdoor Lions, Print & Publishing Lions, Health & Wellness Lions and Pharma Lions.

CHE Proximity’s campaign for Genea Fertility

CHE Proximity won a Silver Lion for Patient Engagement – Regulated – Integrated Campaign and a Bronze Lion for Patient Engagement – Regulated – Film: Cinema, TV and Digital Film Content in the Pharma category for its ‘Where Babies Come From’ work for Genea Fertility, as well as a Bronze Lion for Outdoor in Ambient & Experiential – Interactive Experiences for its Samsung work, ‘Samsung Microcodes’.

VMLY&R Melbourne has won a Gold Lion for Design, in Brand Environment – Event Storytelling, for its ‘A Future Without Change’  work for Monash University.

Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne won a Gold Lion for Outdoor in Culture & Context – Single-Market Campaign with its ‘Donation Dollar’ campaign for the Royal Australian Mint.

Ogilvy Melbourne won a Bronze Lion in the Health & Wellness, Health Awareness & Advocacy – Non-Profit/Foundation-led Education & Awareness – Direct category for its ‘Warning Spots’ campaign for AAMI.

Across the Tasman, TBWA Auckland won a Health & Wellness Bronze Lion in Health Awareness & Advocacy – Non-Profit/Foundation-led Education & Awareness – Industry Craft: Typography for ‘The Melanoma Typeface’ campaign for Melanoma NZ.

AutismNZ also won a Bronze Lion in the Health & Wellness, in Health Awareness & Advocacy – Non-Profit/Foundation-led Education & Awareness – Radio & Audio for its ‘Toddler Driving Test’ campaign.

Additionally, AKQA Melbourne and Sao Paulo collaborated to win a Bronze Lion in Design for Communication Design – Promotional Item Design for “Code of Conscience”, for Instituto Raoni.

More winners are set to be announced on 22 June Central European time.
