Jemena has recruited CHE Proximity as its new creative agency of record

As part of its appointment, CHE Proximity will re-launch the Natural Gas category brand in the New South Wales market.

The win coincides with a raft of new hires for the agency, appointing three new executive creative directors.

Nicholas Avram, marketing and customer communications manager at Jemena, said in a statement: “We were all so very impressed with CHE Proximity’s response to the pitch brief. Not only did they address our strategic and creative requirements, the high caliber CHE Proximity team presented a well-balanced, integrated, end to end response, also challenging the brief appropriately with evidence based insights.”

Chris Howatson, CEO at CHE Proximity, added: “The Jemena, Natural Gas team place a high value on creativity and ambition for work that punches above its weight. The pitch process was a very positive one where they shared their commercial challenges and welcomed all agencies to push the boundaries. It has set our relationship off to a flying and positive start and we are of course, chuffed to be their partner.”
