CHEP makes 3 senior hires and promotes new managing partner

CHE Proximity has added three new staff members to its ranks and promoted Jess Coulson to managing partner.

Coulson has been with the agency for four years and steps up from her position as client partner, and is a member of the leadership team on the Telstra account. Joining her are Tash Johnston as head of strategic production, Patrycja Lukjanow as creative director and Grace Vizor as group account director.

Vizor is joining from Leo Burnett to take up the lead on the Samsung account. In her time at Leos, Vizor led the Suncorp Bank and Insurance businesses. Her experience covers Sid Lee in Amsterdam and Adam&Eve DDB in London. Vizor’s appointment at CHE Proximity marks her return to the Clemenger Group, where she started her career.

“I’m excited by the opportunity to return to Clemenger Group, where I cut my teeth in the industry. CHEP’s capabilities and entrepreneurial spirit are next to none, which enables them to truly partner with businesses to unlock the potential of brands across the entire experience. I’m looking forward to doing just that alongside Justin, Jonny and the talented team at CHEP,” Vizor said.

Johnson joins from DDB Sydney where she has spent the last four-and-half-years. Her experience spans clients Optus, IAG, IKEA, Volkswagen, Virgin and Westpac.

Johnson commented: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at CHEP. The results they have achieved so far is amazing and I very much look forward to continuing the very high creative standards set by the team.”

Finally, Lukjanow has returned to Australia from Poland where she spent almost six years at Saatchi & Saatchi. She started out her career in Sydney with M&C Saatchi and Euro RCSG – now known as Host Havas.

The new staff changes come a week after it was revealed that ECD Cam Hoelter is set to leave the business after six months in the role.

CHE Proximity CEO, Justin Hind, commented that the new recruits demonstrated the agency’s commitment to “hiring, developing and promoting the best talent in Australia”.

“We all couldn’t be more excited as to what each of these individuals bring to our business, our clients and agency culture,” Hind said.
