Children’s show Bluey launches nostaglia-style ad for caravan playset

Brisbane-based Ludo Studio has created a new ad for the popular children’s show Bluey, which Ludo Studio created, to promote Bluey’s Caravan Adventures Playset.

The social campaign spoofs 90’s era car dealership ads.

In the 45-second spot, Bluey’s Caravan Adventures Playset is showcased with a retro-style filter, with its various features like Bluey’s friend Jean-Luc and a table that can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Ludo Studio’s co-founder, Daley Pearson, said: “We grew up with local community commercials in Brisbane and they got better as you went up to the Sunshine Coast; and even better the further north you went, in places like Rockhampton. We love them – and it’s the sort of spot The Heeler’s might have picked up their caravan from too!”

The campaign will be on Bluey’s socials and will be live from Friday, 1 October.

The playset is currently for sale at Kmart, Target and Big W.

Bluey is an animated children’s TV show that centres on a Blue Heeler puppy called Bluey. In the first VOZ reporting data, Bluey was the top-rated program on BVOD for the period of 11 to 17 July.
