Chillest 100 returns to SBS on New Year’s Day
The Chillest 100 is once again counting down the best lo-fi, lounge, and downtempo tunes with an all-day countdown on New Year’s Day on SBS Chill.
Last year’s countdown saw Groove Armada’s dreamy At The River take the top spot, followed by all-timer Teardrop by Massive Attack, and Innerbloom by Rüfüs Du Sol at third. Like its clear inspiration, the Hottest 100, the countdown is listener-voted.
SBS Chill music producer, Rob Miller, said: “We’re really excited to once again share the best of the best downtempo, lo-fi, lounge and electronic songs with the Chillest 100 and most importantly unveil which tunes have taken the coveted top spots.
“What’s great about the Chillest 100 is that there’s always a mix of big international artists and favourites, but it’s also a great way to discover new songs and artists you might not come across otherwise.

SBS Chill is now also available on SBS On Demand as a FAST channel, with a blend of audio and visuals.
Listeners can also listen on DAB+ Radio, the SBS Audio App, and on digital TV as channel 306.
