Chris Howatson takes helm of Clemenger Brisbane in leadership revamp

Clemenger Brisbane today announced a restructure of its leadership team, involving a series of promotions and changes, with CHE Proximity CEO Chris Howatson adding the agency to his remit.

Following the departure of managing director, Rob Hudson, the restructure also sees Marianne O’Brien and Cristian Staal promoted to managing partner – creative and Christine Gannon promoted to managing partner – client service. Former Sydney Swans CEO Andrew Ireland will also join the leadership team as part-time chairperson.

Howatson, who will take on the leadership of both agencies with the aim of bringing CHE Proximity’s capabilities to Clemenger’s new and exisiting Brisbane clients.

Ireland’s primary responsibilities will be to support the newly formed leadership team and raise the agency’s profile in Brisbane.
