Chris Murray to moderate EncoreLive
Encore has announced that Creative Director of Neon and Popcorn Taxi, Chris Murray will moderate EncoreLive on 7 June at Sydney’s Hilton Hotel.
Murray will host numerous sessions including the afternoon’s Question Time.
Murray has reported on cinema across all media, from launching and editing Australia’s Empire Magazine to reporting for Sunrise and reviewing on Triple M. He has also produced various film and TV projects.
Since 1999, Popcorn Taxi has provided a forum for Sydney cinephiles to be involved in screenings, in-depth film analysis and Q&As with local and international directors, actors, writers, producers and more. Guests have included George Miller, Quentin Tarantino, Baz Luhrmann, Kevin Smith, Tim Robbins and Ewan McGregor.
EncoreLive, a stream within the Mumbrella360 conference, brings together screen industry professionals to discuss the current state of play within the industry with keynote speakers Jon Penn (CEO Asia Pacific FremantleMedia Enterprises), Emile Sherman (Oscar winner Best Picture for The King’s Speech and Ruth Harley (CEO of Screen Australia).
