Chris O’Keefe to run Initiative Perth
Chris O’Keefe is to be the new MD of media agency Initiative’s Perth operation after his predecessor Debra Neve moved to Mitchells.
Before his move to Perth, O’Keefe spenta few months as MD of Initiative in Sydney and before that was with sister agency UM.
According to parent company Mediabrands, O’Keefe’s appointment precedes “a renewed focus on the Western Australia market”.
Henry Tajer, executive chairman of Mediabrands Australia, said: “This is one of those rare opportunities for a person of Chris’ abilities to take charge of an already successful business, so I am delighted he has accepted the role.
Poor guy gets shuffled around almost daily. Was at UM, then MD of Initiative, then into a Mediabrands trading role, now to Perth.
Enjoy the sun Chris. WA is a beautiful place to live.
A great guy who will no doubt do a great job. Well done, mate!
Well done Chris!

Yep, Chris is a champion. Genuinely good guy. Good luck in Perth!
Sydney will miss you, Chris
This shipmate has had more jobs than your Cap’n has hot Salads!

Four roles in a year?!?
Why didn’t the Initiative CEO make this announcement? Odd. They do have one don’t they?
