Chrissie Swan fronts Priceline’s ‘Chrissie’ campaign as new ambassador

Radio presenter and media personality Chrissie Swan has signed on as Priceline’s ambassador, just in time to front its ‘Chrissie Campaign’ ahead of the holiday period.

The ads highlight all the gift ideas for Christmas available at the pharmacy, as well as options for ‘self-gifting’. The ad signs off with the Priceline server wishing Swan a ‘Merry Chrissie’.

The campaign will appear across all traditional, online and social media. Swan will continue her ambassador role over the coming year.

In a statement, Swan said she was glad to front the campaign as she is a loyal Priceline consumer.

“I am beyond excited to be working alongside Priceline Pharmacy. Everyone, including me, has always loved Priceline but I think they’ll be surprised at the amazing big name and boutique brands that call Priceline Pharmacy home. To put my name – and face – to something where there is a genuine love of the brand makes this such a fun and easy partnership,” Swan said.

Priceline Pharmacy head of marketing, Sophie Smith, said Swan represented the new direction the brand is taking.

“Chrissie is relatable: she’s a mum, a wife and works full time. We chose Chrissie as our newest Ambassador because she’s welcoming, authentic, fun and most importantly real; exactly how our customers should feel when they are in any of 480 stores across the country,” said Smith.

“Priceline has been a much-loved Aussie brand since 1982, becoming a Pharmacy retailer in 2002. We will continue to evolve the Priceline Pharmacy brand to ensure we exceed customers’ expectations.”

The campaign was created by independent creative agency, Whippet, which was appointed to Priceline’s creative account in August.

Tod O’Reilly, Whippet creative director, said: “Working with Chrissie and the Priceline team has been a pleasure. We’re thrilled with the energy Chrissie brings as an ambassador for Priceline, and she’s still as loud as she was in the office when she was copywriting with me back in the day – nothing much has changed.”
