Citizen journalism expert to ‘inform the informers’ with journo news site
Founder of Norg Media and board member of Swinburne University’s Public Interest Journalism Foundation, Bronwen Clune has launched a new platform intended to “inform the informers.”
Newsgraf is an email newsletter Clune founded after her departure from tech incubator Pollenizer to fill the gap in the market for “practical information for time-poor journalists, editors and content makers who need to be better equipped.”
Clune, an expert on citizen journalism, says the platform will curate issues like The Guardian’s open journalism project, newest media tools and the impact of social media on the practice of journalism.
Similarly to the Global Mail’s monetisation model, the site’s revenue source is not yet confirmed.
The platform has already picked up what Clune describes as “some influential players in media” since it went live earlier this week.
There is a need to be met here. I wonder how many Journalist will take it up/How many will stick with just listening to AM every morning.
