Citrus wins Garnier business

Garnier has drafted digital marketing agency Citrus to revamp its online brand.  

The announcement:

Digital marketing agency Citrus has picked up a major new business win, securing Garnier Australia in a competitive pitch.

Appointed as Garnier Australia’s Website and CRM agency, Citrus has been tasked with developing a revamped online brand destination and customer relationship program for the blue-chip beauty brand.

Marketing Manager of Garnier Australia, Collette Masting said that digital is a key channel to build the brand in Australia and Citrus demonstrated outstanding strategic, creative and technical insights plus a deep understanding of Garnier’s target consumer.

“Through their consumer insights, Citrus showed a vision for what is possible and how to engage and build deeper relationships with our audience via the digital channel.”

Peter Noble, CEO of Citrus said the agency is excited to build a digital platform that will immerse consumers in the world of Garnier.

“Garnier is a significant win for the agency, and bringing on a major FMCG brand reflects our broadening client base and ability to deliver on any brief combining business, brand and consumer insights across digital.”

“Brands are increasingly turning to digital to build customer engagement and achieve measurable results. We’re keen to work with Garnier to leverage the digital channel to drive deeper customer relationships and support the brand’s overall marketing efforts,” Noble said.

The Garnier digital platform and customer relationship program will launch in late 2010.
