Clare Creegan becomes Google Australia’s corporate communications and public affairs lead

Google has appointed Clare Creegan as the company’s corporate communications and public affairs manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Creegan takes the role after Nic Hopkins was appointed lead for Google News Lab’s local operations in September.

Formerly a media adviser with the Australian High Commission in London, Creegan joined Google in 2016.

Prior to relocating to the UK to study, Creegan had been a media adviser to WA National Party leader Brendon Grylls, state MLC Mia Davies and Federal MP, Tony Crook.

Google is currently advertising to fill Creegan’s role.
