Claudia David replaced by Phil Johnston in Euro RSCG planning role
Euro RSCG has appointed another new head of planning following the departure of Claudia David after just a year with the company.
A spokesman for the advertising agency said that David had departed three weeks ago “to pursue other opportunities”.
She has been replaced as head of planning by Phil Johnston who was previously at the agency GHO. Johnston is the agency’s sixth head of planning since 2004.
Anthony Gregorio, CEO of Euro RSCG Group, said: “Phil brings a depth of planning, leadership and management skills – an enviable combination. He will be a tremendous asset to the agency and an invaluable member of our management team.”
Johnston said: “I have a huge amount of respect for Ant and a belief in the latent strength of what lies within Euro RSCG. I’m very excited about getting in there, getting involved and helping build Euro into a highly-respected agency, known for the quality and effectiveness of its work.”
Claudia David’s successor Darrell Tiemens also lasted about a year in the planning role. Before Tiemens, Errol Flanagan was the head of planning at Euro RSCG. He spent a year and eight months in the role.
He replaced Bram Williams who spent two years in the role. His successor was Matt Donovan who left in 2004.
Good Luck Phil for Old Times sake!
