Clemenger BBDO Melbourne wins creative account for Swisse Wellness

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has won the creative account for Swisse Wellness, following a competitive pitch.

The brand pitch came about after incumbent agency Noisy Beast completed a management buyout from H&H Group, owners of Swisse, to become fully independent in April this year.

As a part of the partnership, the agency will be developing a new brand platform for the Australian brand.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Group CEO, Jim Gall said: “Swisse Wellness is an incredible brand with a strong creative and cultural ambition.”

Managing director of Swisse Wellness, Nick Mann, also said: “We’re excited to be partnering with the Clemenger BBDO team locally and leveraging the strength of the BBDO network globally in a key period of growth for our business.”

In addition to a new brand platform, Clemenger will support the brand with retail, activation, production and engagement across brand communications, product launches and ambassador content. The new brand platform, when rolled out will be supported by localised executions, to be carried out by the BBDO global network.

Gall continued: “We couldn’t be happier that the Swisse team has entrusted us as their creative partner to share their story and products with the world. Together, we’ve got big plans and look forward to bringing them to life in the very near future.”

Mann said that he believes the partnership with the agency will be built to last over the long term.

“Clemenger’s strategic and creative capability was demonstrated throughout the entire process and we’re looking forward to embarking on a long and successful partnership with the team.”

Noisy Beast was wholly acquired by Swisse Wellness in 2017, with Noisy Beast managing director David Brown, commenting in April this year that it was time for both the group and agency to move in different directions.

Previous work between Swisse and Noisy Beast

Last year, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky starred in a content series for Swisse Wellness, released as part of the brand’s 50th anniversary. Hemsworth also featured in the establishment of the brand’s platform ‘Quest’ in 2019.

Last week, Clemenger Melbourne announced the appointment of Jaclyn Currie as executive director, retail. Charlotte Stevens also joined in June as group business director, Myer.
