The executive will continue with the agency until June 2018.

Robert Morgan, executive chairman of the Clemenger Group, said: “Andy and I have been in discussion for some time and he has been clear that he wanted to step back at the end of the year.

“I would like to thank Andy for his magnificent efforts leading Clemenger BBDO Sydney over this time. We have had great success under his leadership.”

Until a replacement is announced, Clemenger Sydney will operate with Ben Coulson as CCO, Emily Perrett as MD and John Rizoski as CFO.

The news comes three months after Clemenger Melbourne’s chief creative office Ant Keogh departed to join The Monkeys Melbourne as chief creative officer.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne also announced a new leadership team with Gayle While as deputy CEO and Simon Lamplough as MD after Paul McMillan and Michael Derepas joined The Monkeys Melbourne.

At the start of the year the Sydney agency also lost its executive planning director Al Crawford after eight years.

While in December last year, Ben Coulson joined Clemenger Sydney as its head of creative.
