Clemenger elevates McGrath and Keogh into key creative roles

Clemenger BBDO has promoted Melbourne executive creative director James McGrath to the new position of national creative chairman, with his vacated role to be taken up by Melbourne creative director Ant Keogh.  

Robert Morgan, Clemenger group chairman, said: “In this role, James will be able to work with our CDs across the country to improve our product, work better together, manage our creative resources and position us in the creative community.”

McGrath was named Creative Leader of the Year at the 2009 MADC awards. He has also picked up gongs at the Cannes International Advertising Festival, D&AD, The One Show, Clio, New York Festivals, AWARD, MADC, AdFest, ADMA and the Effie Awards.

Meanwhile, Keogh was involved in Carlton Draught’s multi-award winning “The Big Ad” TV ad which was recently included in the Power House Museum’s ‘Top 10 Greatest Australian Ads’.

The new roles are effective immediately.
