Clemenger Group wins Myer digital with new bespoke offering
Clemenger Group has won Myer’s digital business after creating a new bespoke offering ‘LogicalMagic’ for the pitch process.
Based out of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, LogicalMagic uses talent from the agency, together with Che Proximity and EG+ to give Myer a digital strategy, creative, data, development and MarTech offering.
The latest win builds on Clemenger BBDO Melbourne’s relationship with Myer as its creative agency of record, which the agency won in 2014 after a year-long pitch.
Simon Lamplough, managing director of Myer at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne said the agency has a “strong belief in the future of integrated agency models”.
“By combining the best of Clemenger BBDO, CHE Proximity and EG+, Myer will have an unrivalled pool of talent at their disposal alongside all the benefits that an integrated offering brings – cost efficiencies, interconnected service models, reduced client management requirements and truly integrated output,” Lamplough said.
Michael Scott, executive general manager of brand and marketing at Myer, said the “omni-channel offering” will be “paramount” to the brand’s success.
“The LogicalMagic proposition that Clemenger brought to the table was very compelling because of the blend of technology and creative expertise on offer,” he added.
As part of the new win, LogicalMagic will manage Myer’s digital requirements, drive innovation and bring a new approach to Australian retail.
Myer’s in-house digital services team will move into the LogicalMagic team which will commence work from February 27.
