Clemenger Melbourne bolsters creative team hiring Nicole Sykes

Clemenger Melbourne has appointed Nicole Sykes as a creative director.

Sykes joins from New Zealand where she was the creative director at BESS for one year.

Sykes joins from BESS in New Zealand

In 2014 Sykes was the creative director at DDB&R New Zealand.

Speaking of her appointment Sykes said she was excited to join the team of “clever humans”.

“I have admired Clemenger BBDO Melbourne’s work from afar for many years and am absolutely thrilled to now be joining them.”

The appointment comes after the recent promotions of Gayle While as deputy CEO and Simon Lamplough as MD.

The promotions followed the departure of the chief creative officer of Clemenger Melbourne, Ant Keogh.

Stephen de Wolf, ECD at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, said in a statement: “She’s the perfect fit for us here and undeniably a brilliant thinker. From her Fargo Woollens gruesome knitwear collection, to her superb CleverKash campaign for ASB teaching kids the value of money in today’s cashless world, we’ve been huge fans of her work.”
