Clems promotes Gareth Collins – ‘a street fighter in a nice suit’ – to managing partner

Gareth Collins has been promoted from client services director to managing partner of Clemenger BBDO Sydney.

He’ll be working closely with CEO Andy Pontin and ECD Paul Nagy.

“Gareth is genuinely passionate about creativity,” said Nagy. “We have a truly world class group of creative directors here in Sydney, and there is no one I’d rather have partnering them toward our ambitious goals. He’s a street fighter in a nice suit – I love that about him.”Collins joined Clemenger BBDO Sydney in 2008 when he moved from the UK where he was board account director at AMV BBDO in London.

He will continue to work on accounts including Virgin Australia, Foxtel, Wrigley, Frucor and Campbell’s.
