Clinique celebrates positive beginnings in new social media campaign
Beauty brand Clinique has kicked off a social media campaign #StartBetter with the aim of engaging with consumers.
Launched by media agency OMD, the campaign begins with a video that asks the question “When was the last time…you did something for the first time?” It is designed to let consumers celebrate the idea that everyone deserves to start better.
Agnes Landau, SVP Global Marketing, Clinique, said: “This is a campaign celebrating fresh starts, new beginnings and bold steps forward.
“Clinique stands for more than great products; we stand for the right to be the best version of oneself, inside and out. Anyone can join us in making a commitment to starting better right here, right now.”
As part of the campaign, OMD has set up a real time Powder Room Control Centre, running directly out of the agency’s Sydney office, which interacts with fans via social media and provides personalised content to celebrate user promises to #StartBetter.
Locally the campaign will partner with three influencers across nutrition, travel and graphic design.

You guys have spelled CLINIQUE in correctly in the head, sure its not quite the epic fail of the recent missing “o” in countdown scandal, but you know what they say about glass houses, right?
